Did two Senior portraits today - I've been dying to try the David Hill lighting style so here it is with Mike, a baseball player and an available light portrait of Sarah with the beautiful eyes. I'm planning to use these for an upcoming mailer and would love some feedback.
Thanks,
Fred
I like them both, each has it's own character, which I think would appeal to each gender respectively. Good Job. Would love to see the mailer.
ReplyDeleteI think these look great, Fred! Really loving that light on the baseball player. If I had any suggestions, they'd be...
ReplyDelete1. Why not shoot the ball player on the ball field, for some context?
2. Have you tried cropping in on the girl at all? A nice tight crop might bring those beautiful eyes in even closer...
Well done!
Great pictures, Fred.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestions:
Crop the picture of the girl tight in the left side and kill the light on the wall. That will give more space behind her in the right side of the picture too.
Great picture and lightning on the baseball player. I will try that myself one day - that's what this blog is all about, isen't it?
Have a great easter!
Very, very nice!!!
ReplyDeleteI particularly love the baseball player - the pose, his "attitude," the lighting.
I agree with Bjarne about cropping out the bright area to the left of the young woman. The brightness draws the eyes away from the beautiful model (thought not for long!).
agree w/ Bjarne great light on the Dude!
ReplyDeleteand the expression and the young lady is beautiful.
